Our journey began by the railway lines at the old woodyard in Umkomaas. Scraprite started as a small family-run business with just one bakkie and a steadfast motto: “Your Scrap’s Worth, Paid in Full.” From these humble beginnings, our focus was on delivering honest and reliable service to our local community.
Recognizing that our initial profits were insufficient to sustain our growth, we made a crucial decision to reinvest our earnings back into the business. This strategic move enabled us to acquire a truck with a grab, significantly enhancing our service delivery and efficiency.
As we dedicated ourselves to exceptional service and transparency, our reputation spread, and our client base grew. We take great pride in the fact that some of our valued clients have been with us for over 20 years.
